El Potrero Chico - Mexico
Nov - Dec 2026
El Potrero Chico has everything you need for an awesome climbing vacation - tacos, tequila, and ticking off huge multipitch climbs! The impressive walls of EPC tower over the town of Hidalgo, Mexico, one hour from the airport in Monterrey. The limestone hosts a variety of great sport climbing and bolted multipitch routes, and the town hosts a plethora of different hotel, bnb, hostel, and camping options - not to mention endless tacos, burritos, and more.
Like all High Point Guiding trips, I strive to build and deliver a climbing trip that feels completely custom for your needs. This trip could focus on instructional days like multipitch tactics, redpoint techniques, and self rescue. We could turn our sights to the big classics and work through a multipitch tick list. Below are a few sample itineraries.
